体液は、人間が感情を伝えるための手段でした。 恋人同士のキスで交わされた唾液、生殖に使われた精液、胎児を優しく包み込む羊水、お椀に滴って、兄弟と一緒に飲む血、そしてもちろん涙。 体液は人のコミュニケーションの重要なメディアであると思います。 その中でも、常に感情に繋がる涙は、この作品のテーマとなっています。
今年は特別の一年でした。誰もが身体的接触を避け、身体的接触が危ないことになります。 泣きたくても他人の前に泣けなくて、悩みを他人に相談することが難しくなリました。 身体と感情の自己抑制を解放するために、涙を預けるバーチャル空間を構築することで、身体の接触と感情の共有の原初的な欲求を喚起したいと思います。この作品によって、人の間にとのネガティブな感情の共有を促進することを願っています。
作品の構成では、中国道教の宗教儀式を参考に、圧力センサーを備えた座布団を設置しています。 跪くという非日常的な行為を通して、デジタル涙を集め、参加者全員が残したデジタル涙を融合し、モニターに表示しております。
Bodily fluids have always been a way for humans to convey their emotions. For example, the saliva exchanged by kissing lovers, the bodily fluid where the sperm and egg cell meet, the amniotic fluid that gently wraps the fetus, the blood which be dripped into bowl and then drunk together to prove the bond of brothers, and, of course, the tears. I think bodily fluids are vital media in human communication. Among them, tear functions as the most social bodily fluid, is the theme of this work.
This year is so special. People avoids contact with others, and body touch becomes a dangerous thing. I think many people wanna cry but shame to cry in public. In order to relieve the pain of the body and heart, I want to arouse the original need for physical contact and emotions communication by building a virtual space for storing tears . I hope this interactive device can share the burden between us in the end of the year.
A kneeling mat equipped with pressure sensors is set up during the arrangement of this work, basing on the religious rituals of Chinese Taoism. Through special act of kneeling, the virtual tears is collected and integrated with the other participants’ teardrops. The whole process is displayed on the screen.

今年是特别的一年，人人回避彼此之间的物理联系，身体的接触成为危险的事情。想要落泪却不能落泪，向他人倾诉烦恼也变得困难。为了解放身体和感情的抑制，我想唤起对身体接触和传达情感的原始需求，在虚构的空间里构建寄存泪水的空间。我希望这个虚构装置可以促进人与人负面情感的交流。
在作品布置上，参考了中国道教的宗教礼节，设置了配有压力传感器的跪垫。通过跪这一非日常行为，完成电子泪水的收集，与所有参与者留下的电子眼泪融为一体，并显示于屏幕之上。
